The best wedding venues to get married in Berkshire

FEBRUARY is the month of love and there may have been romantic proposals on this Valentine’s Day.

So for any couples looking to get married, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best wedding venues in Berkshire, according to free wedding planning website, Hitched.

The site helps couples choose their vendors, from florists to photographers, DJs to bands, and offers tips and advice for planning the big day.

Here are five Berkshire wedding venues that are popular on Hitched:

Lilliebrooke Manor and Barns – Maidenhead

This Grade II listed, lovingly restored, exclusive use estate can accommodate up to 170 seated guests, for those wishing to host a large wedding.

The mansion and barns are surrounded by beautiful gardens, perfect for photos.

One review said: ‘Lillibrooke Manor is a special place. The gardens are beautiful which creates a pleasant atmosphere. The staff can’t do more to help you and make you and your day feel like the most important in the world. We and our guests loved the food.

Royal Berkshire–Ascot

With 15 acres of grounds, the Royal Berkshire Hotel is a Queen Anne house built in 1705. Weddings, big or small, are all welcome at this elegant venue and couples love it. A review on Hitched said: “We had our wedding reception at the Royal Berkshire and it was amazing!! It’s a lovely venue, with beautiful grounds and great photo opportunities!”

Cantley House Hotel and Barn – Binfield

Located on the outskirts of Wokingham, this privately run boutique hotel and barn has a rich history.

The Victorian hotel combines charm and elegance and offers indoor or outdoor ceremonies.

And it has 36 rooms, some of which have access to the garden, jacuzzi, sound system and WiFi.

Trunkwell House – Reading

Trunkwell House has been selected as a Regional Finalist in the Wedding Industry Awards “Best Venue” category for 2022.

The site’s marquee offers a breathtaking rural setting.

Having recently undergone a complete renovation, the place now has seven rooms on site.

The marquee overlooks 34 acres of grounds and accommodates 50 to 350 guests, so perfect for any size wedding.

Domaine De Vere Beaumont – Old Windsor

The historic estate won for its selection of elegant spaces that form a beautiful backdrop for wedding celebrations, such as the unique White House and Chapel.

The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests nestled in 40 acres of landscaped gardens.
