2 Oxfordshire wedding venues named in the UK’s top 10 – See the full list


The car dealership has compiled a list of the best wedding venues across the country, ranking them from best to worst, based on five crucial factors.

Venues are rated based on their Google reviews, onsite accommodation, onsite parking, average maximum temperature as well as average monthly rainfall during the wedding season which is between May and October.

The researchers then decided on their performance out of a total of 100 points.

Whether you’re looking for the perfect place to say “I do” or want to see if the place you got married made the list, we’ve got you covered.

Here are the two Oxfordshire wedding venues that are in the UK’s top 10 and where they made the list.

Oxfordshire wedding venues in the UK’s top 10

Hadsham Farm and Caswell House in Oxfordshire are both on the UK’s top 10 list.

The former boasts an impressive 4.8 Google score, offers on-site accommodation and also has ample parking for your guests.

You can also stay and park hassle-free at Caswell House, with just a few spots between the two locations.

However, the average temperature is 18.95 degrees Celsius during the wedding season, compared to 19.32 degrees at Hadsham Farm.

You can also expect a bit more rainfall at Caswell House averaging 57.37mm per month over the same period, compared to 54.83mm at Hadsham Farm.

The 10 best wedding venues in the UK

According to the Brindley Group’s ranking, the South Cambridgeshire farmhouse took first place as the best wedding venue in the UK.

South Farm is followed by Hadsham’s own farm in Oxfordshire and Leeds Castle in Kent.

In fact, according to the index, 7 of the top 10 sites are located in the Southeast.

This is due to “a mix of well-appointed venues with high temperatures and low rainfall during wedding season”, the Brindley Group suggested.

  6. Caswell House – Oxfordshire: 88 points
  7. Hengrave Hall-Suffolk: 88 points
  8. Hampton Court House-Surrey: 88 points
  9. Hever Castle – Kent: 87 points
  10. Braxted Park-Essex: 87 points
